tried to download file on my android (9.0)
after download I could not locate my file
did it download/were did the app downloaded it?

BlompApp *currently* has two functions. One is called save and the other is download. The "download" is likely the one needed, not the "save". Let me explain more:

One saves to the cache while the other commits it to the appropriate directory.
